For anyone about to undergo this surgery, I wish you all the best, and yes, the chances are good that someday, you will be out of pain and walking around. Patience and perseverance are key.

  3. I would also like to add that a knee walker is MUCH better than crutches, and make sure you have the ability to manufacture ice on a constant basis (and have someone to bring it to you often).
